Constructed in the mid 50's as the home
of Col. Joe Mackey, the Beach Club is a historical landmark
on South Bimini. Located at the extreme Southwestern tip
of South Bimini a 270 degree panoramic view of both the
Atlantic Ocean and the Bahamas flats awaits the visitor.
To the South is Rabbit Cay, South Rabbit Cay and Round
Rock. In the 60's Col. Mackey relinquished his home to
expansion including the construction of a large restaurant
and bar and a 40 room hotel located on the Western edge
of the Island directly overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.

Percy, a native to the island and a 12-year proprietor
